Retaining Wall Block Warranty

VT warrants to the original owner that each Varden Retaining Wall Block (complete with 2 side rails) is  free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of the original  date of purchase.

If these products are defective under normal usage within the specified period, the customer must provide  proof of purchase, along with a full description of the defect, to:

VT reserves the right to request photographic proof of product defect and to assign a local representative  to review in person or to request that the defective product be shipped to VT (at its expense) to verify the  defect or assist quality control. Upon receipt of a confirmed, timely claim, VT (at its expense) will replace  the product, send a replacement part, or issue a refund (at our option). VT is not responsible for removal  or installation costs, or for replacement of any components that were not defective.

There is no warranty for replacement of plants and/or soil or other wall building components. In the  case of irrigated living retaining wall systems, VT recommends the retention of experienced, local  landscape maintenance services for regular wall monitoring and plant care visits, once wall  installation is completed. No replacement or refund will be allowed for plants or irrigation parts.

This warranty does not apply to any Varden system or component which is damaged because of defects  in the structure or materials that connect to the system, improper system installation, chemical damage  or other misuse, or excessive or unforeseen site conditions. This warranty is void if the product is repaired  or modified in any way.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES DENIED, INCLUDING THAT OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A  PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. VT DISCLAIMS  ANY LIABILITY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

Legal rights vary from state to state, so the above limitations may not apply to you if precluded by local  law.
